Mike Mitchell
( Guitar, Vocals)
"The Godfather" of frat house rock! Mike Mitchell is a
lifelong member of
The
Kingsmen,
one of the 1960's greatest
touring bands, Mike has been on stage and TV with the
Rolling Stones, Kinks, Zombies, Guess Who, Turtles, Lovin'
Spoonful and many others. Mike continues to tour with The Kingsmen, bringing the joy of fraternity toga parties to a
new generation of students.

Steve Peterson
(Drums, Guitar, Vocals)
Steve
Peterson lays down the beat for the band. The hard slugging
drummer for The Kingsmen and many other Northwest bands has
a commanding presence behind the drum kit. He also can step
out in front taking the vocal and guitar leads. Steve is a
professional music producer.
Jeff
Hale (Harp, Percussion, Vocals)
Jeff is a veteran of numerous mid-Willamette Valley bands
and was the host of the Roadhouse Blues Jam Night at the
infamous Peacock Tavern in Corvallis, Or. Jeff learned the
instrument from his father, a veteran of the Chicago
harmonica bands of the 1930s and 1940s, and has played harp
all his life. |
Hoodoo Johnson was formed in 1998 to provide an outlet for artistic
expression and outrageous good times for the band's members.
The core of the band consists of four of the five current
members of the world famous
Kingsmen. Their recording of
Louie Louie was named the greatest jukebox hit of all time
in 2003. A bassist and harp player that gives the group
tremendous versatility and depth joins the founding four.
The band plays in Washington and Oregon.

Barry Curtis
(Guitar, Vocals)
Barry brings vast experience and enthusiasm to performances
especially for audiences that prefer its music straight,
without affectation or artifice. Barry joined
The Kingsmen
in 1963 and rapidly became a favorite with the crowd. As a
lifelong professional musician, Barry has continued to hone
his craft working with some of the nation’s premier rock,
country, folk, alternative, and rockabilly players.
Todd McPherson
(Slide Guitar, Bass, Vocals)
Todd has always followed his own path. His parents worried
about him when he was growing up because instead of doing
homework, he spent most his hours learning Beatles' songs on
his guitar. After high school, Todd spent most of his time
touring the Western U.S. in regional bands such as No Ties.
On many occasions Todd came close to national prominence
with his searing lead vocals and guitar work. In 1992, Todd
was asked to join
The Kingsmen.
Scott Bickford
(Bass, Lap Steel, Mandolin, Vocals)
"Mr. Bottom" thumps out the beat that energizes the
audience. Scott's captivating vocals range from Chuck Berry
to Jimmy Buffett. Along with the bass, Scott plays slide
guitar and is a world-class mandolin player. |
